After playing Commander: The Great War I just had to try Europe at War Gold. I just bought it today and am very disappointed at the screen resolution. I expected better from a fairly modern game. 1024x768 hasn't been the standard in may years now. I guess I'm stuck with it now. [:(]

I just purchased Legion Gold since it looked good and it's on sale.
It installs okay and the intro video works but then the screen goes to 640x480 and the color is horrible.
I've tried several compatibility settings to no avail. Have I wasted my money?[&:]

Thanks for the quick reply. That's a very strange way of keeping track of the victory conditions. If a manual for the game existed it would contain this information.

I've just completed 2 games with Science victory conditions checked. I achieve over 75% research completed but the game never ends. Am I doing something wrong?

Can the existing scenario's be edited to create a new scenario? I get my butt kicked constantly on "Easy" level so I would like to add a few troops to my side.

Thanks for the tip. I modified the xml file to give me a small improvement on unit stats. After a couple of tries I finally succeeded in beating Eidelweiss. I still get beat a couple of times first but I'm having fun again.

Don't get me wrong. I do appreciate the assistance. I was just getting very frustrated and decided to take a break and play with something that I can beat occasionally.
