September 1916

As air technology advances, air squadrons can be used for strategic bombing as well. Germany has an edge here, as she can utilize zeppelins to perform the task. The Entente cannot intercept them until they discover "High Altitude" technology.

I noticed that it is also helpful to send the units to depots with vehicle build-up to boost their own vehicles. But I never tried supply priority 4 so thanks for the suggestion.

I do not post much about diplomacy anymore since, apart from the USA, only minor powers that are not really game-changers are left. Still, both sides are performing diplomatic missions.

Not being able to run the tracker on my Linux is one of the reasons I postpone beginning to play this game as people keep telling it is a must. I think Python has much better chance of working, so I am looking forward for the new version. Good luck and thanks in advance!

I would not trust answers from AI unless it has an upload of the manual, which currently it cannot read because it is too large. Open the manual and give it the pages covering the air war and then ask for the answer. It is good with WitE2 reading CSV from Commanders Report though. Too bad the CR ...

Allied Airfield Bombing Feels OP

I opened a thread back then arguing that airfield bombing is OP.* Now I want to ask in terms of air support personnel losses, because again it feels OP. I say feel, because I really do not know how it was in real life, but in my game it is as serious as ground combat itself. Here check this ...

Germany attempted to increase the intensity of submarine warfare, but it failed. Now that the US is already pro-Entente, I do not care if they get angry or not, as long as the British are hurt even more.

In the West, the Germans managed to cross the Somme River, reaching as far as Rouen. Despite indicating a victory in the city, my only surviving wounded cavalry corps was just forced back to the rear lines. A retreating Entente unit perhaps dislodged it as it was too weak, but I do not know.

The Russians performed their biggest attack in a while in the Caucasus. They used combat gas successfully: the fact that it was the first time it had ever been used, combined with a leader who has a "gas bonus" trait, resulted in all my units being wounded. Note that the international community is ...

Re: End of the Reich? vIV

That's good news! I will definitely try it once I find the time, but thanks in advance for the effort you put into it. I've got a question, though. Is the PO capable of gathering strength with an operational pause and then conducting grand offensives—such as the Vistula-Oder offensive—in which the ...

Russia is never a pushover for the first two years. In the Balkans, Danube is a formidable obstacle and must be treated with respect.

Enjoying this and getting back to WW1G. Unfortunately, I am in FL for 3 months with a Windows 11 computer. WW1G will not install on it. The other problem is that my home computer is on its last legs and a new one means Windows 11.
