My 2 cents&nbsp; - Leave it alone for all the reasons already mentioned by Litjan,feelotraveller and Shark, not to mention there is already enough that needs fixing in this game at present.

If you build or place something that has long range scanners in the area where the will stop re-spawning in said area. At least they do in .7; ie a starbase or a monitoring station.
