Anyway to reduce how many spies a civ has with that mod loader ... it really gets out of control late game and I only have 10 planets , I think I have around 20 spies now . That is a joke ... max should be 5 even when you have 100 planets !

After 100+ h playing , what I missed the most

1.) An option to reduce pop growth drastic (stupid stellaris needed 5 years to give us that option), the pops are bunnies atm

2.) Ancient technology , should only be possible to research, when you have already researched EYERYTHING in that ...

... and unplayable , when you are inside a nebula system !
Special "SOL"

- 1As the game only freezes for a second every few minute , there is no log or dump
- Inside of SOL it freezes even forever, when it also wants to autosave at that time, or when you have that ship designer open ...

zoom into a gravitic system like "SOL" build some station there , like I have and the game freezes for a second every minute and when it try to autosave, or you click something, when it just wants to freeze again ... thats it FROZEN forever

BUT YES "NO CTD" :mrgreen:

performance, always hit ...

According to Galactopedia -> Game Concepts -> Nebula Clouds:
Ion Storms do 4 Ion Damage
Gravitic 8 Ion Damage
Even the T1 Ion Weapon does 9 Physical and 18 Ion Damage. T2 is 10/24.

That is why the Ion Sheath armor at 10 Ion Protection is entirely enough for ships not expected to take fire.

Played an additional 8h or so without ctd, but
just had one WITHOUT any new log ...
but game is already slow , even I am already playing with 0,25 all the time ...

Seems I need a new PC :D m< potato is too slow

Sorry that I am not able to help with any essential technical information or log ...

Looks like 1.0.2.4 didn't touch Races.xml, so we should be good to go. If you want to be doubly sure, you can make this mod yourself by opening Races.xml, doing a search for <Type>CounterEspionage</Type> and then putting in 0.10 or 0.20 as appropriate. (If it's currently 0, set to 0.10. If it's ...

Now it worked again, even I had one CTD in 2h , when it tried to autosave, but when reloading from the autosave before it workes again ...


Are there any logs in your /data/logs sub-folder for that one crash?

Helped me a lot, was not able to continue with 1026, as it freezes every time, when autosave started or I tried to manual save the game.

Now it worked again, even I had one CTD in 2h , when it tried to autosave, but when reloading from the autosave before it workes again ...

also have now ALWAYS since 1026 when it autosaves or when I do a manual save , the game freezes ...
and I have to kill it with task explorer
campaign started with 1022

also have a NVME 2 ssd from samsung

no log file or crash report

Yes have seen that now also, so the first version 1.0.2.1 is enough

and that is the problem of such games,
some buffs add together, so it get out of control, crazy damage ranges, jump ranges , scanners etc.
and sometimes only the highest buff count,
what is a lot better, as you know, what range ...

Is there any easy way to turn off tech stealing? I turn off tech trading in every 4x game and stealing looks like it's the same just even more overpowered.



Same, that is why I hate it, that even before midgame, everyone has all techs, BECAUSE THAT DAMN PORATES already have ALL TECHS at ...

As I don't like that planet grabbing "everywhere" in the whole galaxy at the start, I prefer to choose a short distance . like 100 ... so the civs have to use planets ...

oh cool , when you just save, when it happens and quit the game.
Reload it AND THE STOCK is normal, so seems it is only a MEMORY LEAK , which even didn't save ...
so maybe something happens, when the game creates the planet !
and you have played for a long time in a row.
Game was running over 8h in ...
