I think cost has to be factored in as well,some of the countries using Leopard are smaller countries with limited defense bugets,and if I understand correctly the Leopard is the least expensive of the Western and American MBT'S.

To be fair to the designer(Ron Dockel),He has been honest about the AI in his other games,stating that it was limited in it's skill and best used for learning the game and that playing against another person was best,so I would expect his response to be honest about this game as well.

Check out the 'unable to update' thread on the Slitherine Pike and Shot forum,about halfway down there's a link to a zip file.Tried it and the game runs ok.

Had the the same problem after updating,saw on another thread that the Slitherine installer isn't working properly.

Had the same problem,couldn't run the game from the desk top icon or the the autorun exe in the game folder,but could run it from the FPRS exe,but after shutting the game down it now runs from both without any problem.

Radic,have you tried running Stalingrad with defend Reloaded,works ok with win 7.

Think it was changed in the patch so that only mech infantry get the dialog.

The original rapier systems didn't have all weather or night time capability, they could only be used in daylight in good conditions.Not surprising they performed poorly in the Falklands.the later models had the Blindfire radar system which put this right.
