I realize I'm asking for spoilers, but, what's the best way to prepare for the Shakturi? My fleets are approaching 20+ capital ships (and carriers), 20k+ firepower, with individual ships having 2-4k shields and 500-1k armor.

It's a pirate. Why *wouldn't* they take your money and then still take what they want?

Sorry, I'm not trying to be an ass, but pirates by definition go against the social norms, including honoring deals. I would expect as much from them, and that is why I arm all my stations.
