RE: Map orientation ?

Yep, you can change the movement camera speed in the options.

RE: More Courier Questions

<t> The way I use couriers is to play like normal, i.e. not using the courier message screen. I then move the men around the map like I would without couriers, except all these orders will now travel by courier. I don't normally play with couriers but it adds such a cool element to the game that i ...

RE: How can infantry get rid of enemy artillery?

Use skirmishers, they are particularly useful for chasing away artillery.

RE: Regiments marching through each other

<t> What you see there in the screenshot is the unfortunate result of a battalion about face and moving. The right then becomes the left, and vice versa, and the sprites swap over. We do have an About Face command that could be used but then the direction of movement needs to be calculated ...

RE: Status report from subordinates?

Nice idea. The issue is that you would be spammed with situation reports from all your commanders. Imagine an army command, with all those troops you would receive many status reports, too many. We thought about this idea and in the end decided that fewer messages meant a more enjoyable game.

RE: Please mae an option to turn of scores i sandbox

<t> Setting the score to 0 in the sandbox battle options should remove the score limit. If it doesn't then that's a bug i think. Have you tried that?<br/>
<br/>
Adding a sandbox campaign battle limit score adjustment sounds good to me. I'll add it to the campaign ideas list.<br/>

RE: Cav unit not following orders at all

I can confirm there is an issue with cavalry executing these types of orders. It is supposed to work so we'll get on it. Thanks for posting.

RE: British Rockets

<r> Whinyates' troop were told to also keep some of their cannons. Wellington did not like the rockets but gave Whinyates some leeway. So only partly abstracted, and was much simpler to show the whole troop with cannons. The rocket section was so minor the game resources were better spent elsewhere ...

RE: Cav unit not following orders at all

<t> I will check but I think the "scout" command was changed this game. It no longer appears on the toolbar for cavalry so I think it was disabled to ensure the napoleonic cavalry acted correctly. Obviously they should be able to scout so this makes sense to be able to do so i'll follow this up. For ...

Indeed very valuable. I am a stats junkie and enjoy writing AARs. I'm pretty sure this is on our list of things to do. I'll follow it up.

RE: First Impressions?!?!

<r> Thank you for your comments. The 'units not doing as you tell them' is what is so unique about this game. As a commander in real life you order your men, however commanding officer of that unit will use their initiative to work out what they need to do given their orders and the situation they ...
