Looking for casual allied player to get back into the game

I haven't played in a hot minute and was looking for a allied player who is willing to play a hakko ichi campaign with me. We can iron out the details of the rules in email once we get going. Perhaps one to two turns a day can be done if you're capable. I work blue collar so my hours can be long ...

RE: Ise damage

layer your cap... i know it sounds silly... but its what i do.. Set anything protecting your cv's to range zero... then layer them from 5000 to 15000 feet in increments of 5000 feet. Also i set my squadrons to 100% and i have to permanent squadrons only for escorting the bombers.

RE: Ise damage

<t> the likely hood of ise surviving is good... unless fires somehow broke out... when i went through my ordeal with mind_messing ise had 35 systems 5 flood and 16 engine damage approx... to sink these bb's you have to get all your eggs into one basket and get all the hits in one day so the fires ...

RE: Float plane Success

<t> I dont think it matters much anymore.. Floatplane attacks have dropped considerably in last 10 -15 turns or so... : P Here is another question derailing the thread a bit.... if the vindicators had a max range of 44 hexes(which is godly) why is their combat radius complete crap. I cant touch the ...

Float plane Success

<t> In my current Pbem i am having great success using pby's, do-24's, and the little single engine float planes in the naval combat role. It has not broken into 42 yet and my opponent is getting a little suspicious of my success. My floatplanes are getting have a 70% success rate on their runs and ...

RE: Building 1/700 - 1/350 ships

<t> I have always found pastels work great for weathering, or paint the panel lines lightly with a flat black and then paint over it. Then when you are done with all your painting spray something like future floor polish over it and it will seal in the paint and keep dust from ruining the coat. If ...

Is this common?

<t> Ok so i started a new game as the Japs to get reorganized and maybe set the difficulty level a little lower..... very hard was just a little too much. So its my first four days into the game and i have already waxed the Enterprise and the lexington. The kb caught the Enterprise TF south of ...

Could night bombing the bejesus out of the airstrip maybe ruin it enough to lower their ops?

RE: Getting killed over Rangoon

<t> It's the avg. I have no problem with the boys in the phillipines. But the computer has stacked all three squadrons in Rangoon with them on 100% cap. So I am going up against 45 -60 p-40's at a time with 27-35 zeros. Most of my planes are write offs but the losses are starting to hurt. I guess I ...

Getting killed over Rangoon

<t> So I am playing as the Japanese scen 2 on very hard and it's still December. Does the very hard setting make the allied fighters better or something because my zeros are getting a 1:1 kill ratio with p-40's and I get the jump and my pilots are super well rested and everything but those damned p ...

How to get Sara home

<t> So recently in my A.I game sara along with indomitable and hermes got into a roughin with the Ryujo and the Shoho. Indomitable and Hermes both got bloody noses and will be fine but sara got the short straw and made it to soerabaja with 75 systems, 45 flood, and 11 engine damage after the result ...

RE: He-100 vs Bf-109

<t> And as to why it wasn't chosen as a front line fighter was because Messerschmitt was considered the main company for fighter production, heinkel was told to make bombers. Messerschmitt always got what they wanted like the spoiled baby. Focke-wulf actually got lucky the 109 made it to the front ...

RE: He-100 vs Bf-109

Heinkel used the HE-100 primarily as factory defense fighters. They used them alot for propaganda and film purposes.
