I faced a similar decision like you when deciding the angle for space stations. In static images, 45° looks best, but I don't know how it looks when ships try to dock there. You might want to try that out before committing yourself.

Three way battles have been reported to be problematic (look for existing threads in the forum) I haven't encountered them myself, but I remember reading about the problem.

Cannot read ComponentId...

Since I bet the id is there it can only mean that it can't be read into the data structure. I would reaklly like to know the data type of the member holding the id. I bet its an 8 bit data type.

I would be careful with expression like "best game ever" but I absolutely do agree it is a very good game that gave me lots of fun playing and modding it.

Plus it is very well thought out and implemented, from my limited possibilities to look into its code from the outside.
