AI bonuses

I wonder. Do the AI bonuses you set prior to loading a game apply to AI controlled friendly countries or only the enemy?

RE: Insanely difficult as Axis?

My advise is to just keep the AI on it's toes by mounting small scale attacks on multiple fronts. Seems like the AI is way too keen to pull off too many forces off the front lines. Works even better as allies. Game breakingly so.

RE: Most realistic company/batallion simulation

<t> There is Scourge of war, if you're into the civil war stuff. No POW or taking care of the wounded though. Also, if you like delegating orders, you might want to take a look at Command Ops. Not sure where to get CO though, since I think Matrixgames isn't selling it anymore AFAIK. Sorry for not ...

RE: Empty scenario list

OK folks. Problem solved. During the last 2 months I've had to reinstall windows 10 thanks to some weird W10 diagnosis loop bug. The good news however is that after the latest reinstall of windows and the game, it all works just fine. Thanks Microsoft?

All the drivers are up to date as far as I know. Here's the dxdiag file. Never attached a file, so let's hope this works.

RE: Empty scenario list

Not sure I follow, sorry.

Also, when the next turn picture pops up, it seems to be oddly cut off from the middle or so. No idea what the problem here is. Certainly a frustrating one.

RE: Empty scenario list

<t> I did check the updater, but it says I have the latest version. 1.0.6 or some such.<br/>
Running it on Windows 10 and have it installed on a different partition from the default path.<br/>
<br/>
Edit: Tried reinstalling to the default path and it sadly didn't help.<br/>

Edit 2: It ...

Empty scenario list

Hi.

So I finally decided to buy the game, but unfortunately I immediately ran into an issue. I start the game up and where I imagine should be a list of scenarios, there aren't any visible. Am I missing something obvious?

RE: So, is it worth it?

Thanks for all the replies. I never did enjoy CoH and only parts of Stalignrad, but I do like John Tiller's games and this kinda seems similar. I'll have to watch those streams I think and make up my mind. Cheers. The game doesn't seems to have different levels of height or am I wrong?

Sure, that seems like an appropriate length of playtime considering the turn count. Thanks!

RE: So, is it worth it?

<t> Sure, I realize the AI is often lacking in games. Case in point, a big fan of the Graviteam games, which have a horrid AI, but it's still enjoyable.<br/>

I'm just trying to be honest with myself here. I like the idea of a lot of games and they often are polished and a quality product ...

So, is it worth it?

<t> Hi.<br/>
<br/>
As the title says, that's my question. I noticed there are a bunch of scenarios, but they all seemed to be quite low in turn numbers, which isn't really my thing. Do they play out slow or are they bite sized things?<br/>
<br/>
Also, kinda worried about what I've read about the ...
