RE: Theater Boxes, things not in manual

Thank you! These sorts of things really should be in the manual.

Theater Boxes, things not in manual

<r> I'm reading the section of the manual on TBs and it mentions that combat TBs (Northern Front for instance) have a garrison requirement that will cause VP and AP penalties if you fall below it. The manual neglects to mention <I><s></s>where<e></e></I> you can see what these garrison ...

RE: DC 3 ?

You guys really need top add the multiple humans per side feature of Warsaw to Paris back in for DC3. Only being able to play 1v1 instead of 3v3 (or 6v2 or whatever) is by far the worst thing about DC2.

RE: I hope Matrix doesnt make us use STEAM to buy games in the future

<r> If the 'open source' PC gaming world is the model Matrix offers, with games costing over $50 while <I><s></s>on sale<e></e></I> over 4 years after release you can keep it. I've been waiting for Panzer Corps to get greenlit on steam for months and plan to buy it the day it comes out on ...

RE: Downloading Old Purchases

The downloads in my games and in registered games only allows you to download random junk. For some games it's patches for other games it's manuals or pictures/wallpaper. There's no uniformity to any of it and there certainly aren't any download links for any installers.

Downloading Old Purchases

<r> So I need to download a game I purchased several months ago. The last time I complained about needing to email support a mod on these forums told me:<br/>

I agree with some of the sentiment about demos, but I wonder why RPS decided to make a case against Matrix/Slitherine. It's not like any major distributor does demos any more. The last demo from a major dist. I remember playing was for the ...

Also, despite the fact that we do provide good service for our customers, I have to say frankly that if this game were sold off the back of a truck by a guy who was leaving the country tomorrow who you would never hear from again, it would still ...

I should add we've had many discussions on pricing before where we've explained our point of view and the fact that our pricing decisions are data-based. I understand some will disagree, but there are some past threads available if you want ...

As always its a value judgement which is a very personal thing. This game offers an immense amount of value and clearly a lot of people agree based on the sales so far - one every few seconds.

RE: Game crashing, AI nonfunctional

Ah I've never seen that behavior before, neat. Thank you for the reply.
I managed to fix the crashing issue by reformatting my PC and reinstalling the game, I think it was caused by my backup software trying to grab the quicksave the game was making while it was making it.

RE: Game crashing, AI nonfunctional

<t> I have the AI set to 110% in all categories and it's been playing fine for the last 20+ turns, it's just the one turn that I have attached to the OP where it refuses to do anything. If you download that turn and end it the AI should do almost nothing, just shifting forces around and maybe ...

RE: Game crashing, AI nonfunctional

Just ran the turn on a fresh install on a different computer. The AI launched 2 attacks, one on a partisan in the north and one deliberate attack near Leningrad. No units except the Finns and a handful of units in army group north moved, no other attacks were launched, no planes flew.

Game crashing, AI nonfunctional

<t> I'm playing a Soviet '41 grand campaign against the AI with the 1.0.6.27 patch and Don to the Danube installed on Windows 8 64 bit. A few turns ago the game started crashing during the Soviet Logistics phase after the German AI took it's turn. The game would get to the Soviet logistics phase and ...
