It's true that the ammo usage values for aircraft bombs are far more logistically significant than they are for any other model type... But it's not actually different between bombhatch bombs and precision bombs, though? Both use the same amount of ammo relative to their weight.

Ammo usage for precision weapons is too damned high!

Take a look at the difference between ammo consumption when you switch between dumb bombs and precision weapons! Suddenly a single unit can consume thousands of ammunition units and overload your entire logistics network.

It feels a bit off to me. Sure for balance reasons we want precision weapons ...

Vic please fix the low-tech start. It's bogus that player does not start with power plant and leads to most games being not fun.

Other small fixes that I think would improve the game:
Remove city level requirement for airbase - it's bogus that you need a 25000 population zone to host a fighter base ...

That said, I've come across this complaint a lot and it always turns out that people are playing on very easy, friendly planet types. In my experience this strategy does not work on more resource constrained planets where farmers are not present, the hostile Minor types are much more difficult to ...

Also Shadow Empire 101 - do not pick the t3 start - it just isn't fun and you just press end turn while trying to roll power tech. This could be easily fixed.

I'm not a new player. I also usually avoid t1 for this very reason, but have been trying it out again in the closed beta.

The point of the thread is to highlight this for Vic - this mechanic only detracts from the game.

Playing beta version and I notice quite often i see "disabled" ships sitting around. Both friendly and enemy, no signs of any damage - and can't repair them.

Seems intermittent, I was able to load up turn1 autosave then proceed to turn 2. Couldn't get to turn 3 tho.

The game is a bit of a noob trap - it should have a warning about settings. If you play on minimum tech start with no troops it can be very difficult! You may have to turtle until you can build up - this will be frustrating for new players.

Instead start at tech 4 with 1 brigade per zone. All those ...

The logistics do not bother me in this game, my annoyances are with the AI.

* Bad strategic AI (but good tactical ai)
* AI doesn't follow airbase rules
* AI spams free roads across mountain ranges

Yes 1 SHQ. Got no logistics/supply problems anywhere. All the hexes around this city are in supply. There is definitely supplies flowing through the hex - but I think the game is just not handling the situation of "town ...
