The impression I get is that Soviet commanders like to make as many tank units as possible and believe the T34 production pool is limitless. The Soviet commanders who have got to the end of the game know it is not - indeed in the last three ...

RE: T60

Thanks for your very interesting AAR i'm reading during my hollydays. In our game with Bitburger, we fight for Berlin in April 1945. He kept the German army in a very good shape until the very end of the game

RE: Blacklist for quitters?

<t> You can also establish a list of goods opponents. I had the same problem for all my 10 or 12 first games started. The german players were leaving from turns 2 to 12. But after that, I've played against Bitburger, and while he was not winning the game, he stayed until the end. We're in 1945, very ...

RE: Is an all fronts strategy viable against a skilled player?

<t> Equally skilled is very different from german highly skilled player. Against a german player which has a good level or below, you can defend on all fronts, and you will loose on some parts but it's possible. Against a very skilled player, it's the great run. but in practice many german players ...

RE: Can't Disband FBD Units

I have the same problem with russian airbases in 1944. The luftwaffe is nearly destroyed and I have 7-8 empty air bases and 3 air HQ's using thousands of trucks that I can't disband, while I desperately need those f**** trucks :-)

RE: T22, Riposte

<r> <QUOTE><s>
</s>Agree with you partially. I did save all the units except for the 2 destroyed divisions so thats not the problem. The problem is having a stable frontline with some healthy units and fortifications. <e>
</e></QUOTE>

Nice AAR. Don't be swallowed by the deepness of Russia. Moscow is tempting but you have very few turns to achieve your movement. It seems quite risky

RE: Does bombing Ploesti (as Soviets, ehmm...) make sense?

<t> How do you plan a bombing on PLoetsi ?<br/>
<br/>
In a october 1942 game, it's the 2nd time I bomb ploetsi. This turn, it was with 250 long range level bombers (IL-4, PE-8 etc..). I'm intercepted by 3 fighters. There is two dozen of AA guns. I loose 50 bombers and I don't do a single point of ...
