I have to shut off my computer manually and then when I boot back up I have no audio and have to uninstall and reinstall my AMD drivers ...

Does this help with the crash from watching a battle or are we still working on that one?

I bit the bullet and tested myself. The game runs 40-60 FPS the whole time, but when I zoom into a battle it crashes to desktop. No log created.

I followed the instructions deleting the gamesettings files and such.

Has anyone tested this on . 2.6 ?

At first Erik was here talking with us all, but now he isn't around much and I have no idea the status of this bug or others....

I imagine he's pretty busy working through the issues trying to get the game stable. They are puttin in work for sure.

I'm also pretty disappointed that this crash doesn't seem to be getting any attention.

I am also having the issue where my resolution is changing. .1.8 didn't solve the issue of viewing battles.

Also, I've watched a few different battles. It seems like it only crashes with some weapons. Not all.

I tried turning the volume down to 0% and it didn't help mine

Do you get this crash when you mute the music and or SFX?

Did you get the crash when you're zoomed in and a ship battle is occurring? I'm wondering if I'll be able to play if I mute the game.

I tested more yesterday and one of the space creatures with the laser also crashed when I zoomed in.

This was on a new save file.

I let the battle go for longer the last time I played and there were no issues until I zoomed in. Almost like a shader or particle effect is triggering a crash because it seems to only be an issue when it's visible.

No confirmation yet, but that seems to have helped. Still lag at times when I get pop ups and messages, but no crashes yet.
