PBEM opponent for any scenario or any side.

I can play at a good pace, putting in about 2 hours a day on average. Germans are my preferred side in the conflict but if you desperately want to play them I am happy with flipping a coin and a possible mirror match.

I can probably give you a game over many weeks or months as either the Germans or the Soviets. PM me if you like.

RE: Race to Bastogne - Axis

Have you adjusted the scenario as per Phoenix's suggestions? I would do so because this scenario is far easier than it should be, and probably will not present you with a challenge.

Extract into the appropriate folders I would think, overwriting the previous maps and scenarios.

RE: Greyhound Dash Axis AAR by Daz

Dazkaz, could you comment on the durability and morale of enemy HQs please. You've already mentions how they are stubborn; I found out the same myself and it makes the game frustrating for me. Is this a serious problem in your opinion?

That was a surrender image. Those 4 soldiers had spent the whole night about 200m from the mechanised infantry company. Hiding in a ditch most likely. That's the most ridiculous instance I witnessed, so I'm using that as exhibit A.

4.6.278 feedback

<t> Because there isn't another thread to provide feedback in. <br/>
<br/>
My biggest gripe is the surrender mechanic. Units are very reluctant to surrender even after taking a beating. E.g. an armoured coy of 6 AVs and 40 men is reduced to 12 men and 0 AVs, should, imo, surrender or disband ...

RE: Build 4.6.276 Feedback

<t> I think I've spotted the line formation problem again. Coys are sometimes either moving into line formation after assaulting or defaulting to line formation during a move task which has the objective within 1km. Also, defaulting to line formation when a defend task has been ordered, when the obj ...

RE: Build 4.6.275 Full Beta

He's made the key 'm' select the the adjacent left tab, 'e' the adjacent right tab, and 'r' to switch between the obj/reinf/... panel and the unit panel. I am so lazy that moving the mouse 2cm left and 2cm right whenever I want to see unit information or change tabs is too much effort.

RE: Build 4.6.273 Feedback

Well take Losheim Gap for example, the game starts at 0600 and the AI command delay is 400% to 100% over 12 hours I think. So do your try and rush forward asap to catch them offguard, wait until 1600, or something else?

Repsol,

I think Arjuna is working on this as I had the same problem with my units routing for 6+ hours, yet enemy units were routing then recovering within minutes.

RE: Build 4.6.273 Feedback

<t> I'm playing Losheim Gap as Axis and ere are my super critical observations. Anything that is historically accurate I can accept. <br/>
<br/>
a. Mortar platoons occasionally lead the formation.<br/>
b. Successive lines with 'auto' formation leads to all the units using road column. If the ...
