Longer range is a big deal and the US military seems to be spooked by the PL-15 capabilities. <br/>

Absolutely not. I play scenarios all over the place where an AMP wouldn't even come into use. On some scenarios, an AMP might help. If enjoyment of this game is based on there being an AMP, you might be playing the wrong game or not ...

This diary is fantastic. The LUAs you've written to recreate the Iraqi SAM network sound like they form an excellent basis for better AD modelling in any future scenario.

<br/>
The DARPA Tactical Boost Glide has been formalized into a USAF program named AGM-183A ARRW, Air-Launched Rapid Response Weapon. This is in addition to the HCSW, Hypersonic Conventional Strike Weapon. That leaves the DARPA funded HAWC, Hypersonic Airbreathing ...

HAWC? may have an official designation: AGM-183A Air-Launched Rapid Response Weapon. It is a boost-glide missile but no details beyond that.

RE: Decoys

Thanks for the links. Is there any decoy which is long-term deployable? Something which can be dropped out of an airplane - the 5th battle has something like that. S-3s deploy a ship radar reflector away from the battle group and those reflectors eat a couple dozen Shipwrecks.

Are there any larger decoys which surface ships can place? IIRC, some ships have a deployable decoy and some submarines have a noise-maker. Are those useful?

<t> I'd be interested in a "Mobile Missile Launcher" or "Strategic Re-Locatable Target" expansion pack which expands the fidelity of reconnaissance and ground search modeling. It'd be nice for reconnaissance pods to have much better capture of assets along a path, but come with the cost that you ...
