RE: Does bombing Ploesti (as Soviets, ehmm...) make sense?

<t> The Allied (US and GB) bombings on Ploesti had very bad results almost until the beginning of 1944. I remember that the first attack on 1st August 1943 was a failure : 54 B-24 lost on 177 partecipating to the raid ( and many others damaged ). The damages obtained were repaired very fast , ( I am ...

RE: FOW/Intelligence - 2nd part of the map

<t> The problem is that the FOW should follow the trend of the war.... I mean that at the beginning of the campaign the Germans had everything: Recon, informations and so on.<br/>
On 1943 the Soviets had Lucy and the Red Orchestra that gave to them the full plan for the battle of Kursk.<br/>

I think that Mehring is right, the losses are too low , for so heavy fightings.

<t> When Barbarossa Operation began, the Axis invasion of Jugoslavia had just ended, that's why all those italian units are there.<br/>
The Jugoslavian partisans began to operate later, during winter 1941-42, with small attacks, and much later it began the true uprising.<br/>

<t> When you will take a look at the OOB , I believe that the "Alpini" Italian Divisions (Julia, Tridentina , Cuneense) would deserve the "elite" status.<br/>
