I noticed on the Battlefront forum a thread about the Battle of Antonov Airport/Hostomel. From what I can see the creator pretty much finished the campaign but then the thread went quiet. Does anyone know if it was ever released in any form?

I'm assuming you mean Il2 1946. I think if it has a * by the name in the drop down list of campaigns it is dynamic. 3rd party campaigns made by others may not show that.
Eg *Fighter campaign in Kuban

Looking at the lack of user made scenearios here would I be right in thinking the editor is difficult to master ? I really like the look of the game and the area it covers ( I don't have it yet ). Being able to make linked scenarios looks very interesting...

I noticed the lack of a hotfix months after the event as well. It must be a tough bug to track down !!!
Try going back to 3.10.1a If I remember right thats the version I'm using now and don't get a crash...or use 3.6.3

I done pretty much the same. I knew there were issues but bugs like a crash every time you use Bearing Only Attack should never have been allowed to go through to release. Are there no testers ?
Can I expect an update/fix to be released soon?
