Do you have to be logged into Matrix?

Re: Formating on Non-Blue Units

I have done this with earlier versions, using a single reference point and an ASuW patrol mission for the shadower. Set the RP relative to the CV, fixed or rotating as you like, and as long as the CV is in sight/contact, the RP should move with the CV and the shadow will follow the mission's RP ...

The 1301.1 Public Beta build has rendered the Falklands campaign playable for me. I might have the same effect for you with Red Tide.

Formating on Non-Blue Units

You can order ships to stay a certain distance and bearing away from another Blue unit using the Formation Editor, but is there any way of doing this for a non-Blue unit e.g. when shadowing a currently neutral or unfriendly vessel?

The use case I have in mind is as follows:

In Red Tide Scenario 2 ...

[RESOLVED] Campaign Available But Unplayable

As a follow up to my previous topic, I installed the most recent non-beta update (v1.04.114752.02 Dec 05 2022) and then reinstalled the most recent Beta patch (v1.05.12651.00 Jul 21 2022). This resulted in the Falklands DLC becoming visible in the campaign list at game start, but it has not ...

[NO REPRO] Campaign Unavailable?

I am currently running the 1.05 Beta (v1.05.12651.00) and bought and unlocked the Falklands Campaign DLC with the latest version of MultiDLCSetup. However, the Falklands does not appear in the list of available campaigns, either under the Start Campaign option or the Start New Game option. Is this ...

Chopping Units From One Mission To Another

Following on from my previous post on how to allocate weapons within the mission editor (and thank you to everyone who replied!), is there any way to chop a unit from one mission to another? In the case of the Kobiyashi Maru scenario, I'm looking to set up a mission whereby at the appointed time ...

Re: Assigning Weapons in the Mission Planner

For a visual reference here is the box. In my case it's a Tarantul V corvette with 16x SS-N-25. I've used your parameters to set up the box to spilt 16 missiles between 2 frigates and a cruiser. I've set WRA to take 8 shots at the cruiser and 4 shots at each of the frigates based on the size of ...

Take a look at Weapons release authorization in the Rules of Engagement dialog. You can specify that certain target classes get x amount of missiles, salvoes etc.

Mike
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll take a look at that.

Assigning Weapons in the Mission Planner

I am currently playing through Kobyashi Maru (Red Tide Scenario 2). I want to use the CHARLIE II SSGN to take out the southern side of the CVBG escort screen. The escorts in question comprise a cruiser and two frigates, and I have 8 SS-N-9s to share between them. I have set up a mission for the ...

Re: Scenario 1 Woes

Just ran through this scenario and had the exact same issue - even though BEDFORD was trailing the GOLF, banging away with active sonar and all well within Norwegian TTWs, absolutely nothing happened and scenario timed out.

Went back to a save I made just before I had BEDFORD prosecute the PROBSUB ...

Northern Inferno 1: Opening Moves AAR

<t> This scenario got off to a bad start with the early loss of HMNlS VAN NES and HMS BUCCANTE, both falling to the Soviet CHARLIE-class SSGN. VAN NES was killed by a hit from an SS-N-7 attack that the LEANDER was woefully ill equipped to fight off, and BUCCANTE was sunk by a subsequent follow up ...

RE: Planning Scenario 1 Invasion

<t> I had a go at this scenario for the first time last night. After setting up all the ferry missions and the tanker orbits as directed in the orders I hit play and maximum time acceleration to see how everything turned out. It all seemed to be going pretty well - some F-16s made it from Hahn to to ...

[FIXED v1.04] CMO Crashes After Locking PC

<t> I've run a search and can't find anyone else reporting this, so here goes...<br/>

<t> I've been playing CMANO on and off since it came out and, due to increased relevance to my professional field, I've been putting more time on it lately. As a result, I've finally (!) got around to playing the Air Ops Tutorial and was pleasantly surprised at how well it went.<br/>
