Right! My error, I'm clearing the old version out then installing! The install is running fine, the icon and EXE exist then ... crash! Its a long time since I did an update!

The s/n worked only by deleting the old version and installing into an empty directory. Ran through the install (in Fusion) and pre-reqs and no change, it just crashes on start

Ok, I downloaded 'Command-MANO update 1.06' from the link you sent, but that doesn't accept my serial number No problem with my serial number in other installs.

Not using steam, I'm downloading the exe from a sticky in the main forum ... 'Command gets huge update'. I assume this is a full install and not just an update. It seems to install without any error messages and then install the pre-reqs.

Could please you introduce keyboard short cuts that don't use the keypad?? I play on a laptop that doesn't have a keypad In fact I play in a VM on a Mac laptop, so keys like <END><HOME> etc don't map either!!

Looks like reapplying DirectX (for about the third time) may have fixed the problem ...
