Re: Flashpoint Campaigns 2.1.4.8795 Official Update Released!

I waited quite a while before pulling the trigger on FCCW: Southern Storm. I am having an absolute blast playing this. I also have Red Storm and the qualitative difference is incomparable, and I have a ton of love for Red Storm, too! This is a fantastic game and well worth the wait!

RE: You Just Thought Our Hind Was Bad....

I'm thinking if they were able to detach a section of armor, they could have flanked the Chinese assault through the guest bathroom and used the Brits to counterattack perhaps all the way to the garden.

RE: How do YOU play?

<t> I play...poorly. I have not yet sorted out the C3 component so consequently offense degenerates into a confused conglomeration of artillery bait (I once had a single enemy unit rocket btty take out nearly 50% of my force - 190 steps!) I have troops with orders that NEVER move and just pile up ...

Tactical planning?

<t> I really enjoy FPRS for many of the reasons people have stated previously. This is a great, thoughtful game that rewards efficiency and brutally punishes mistakes. With that in mind, I wanted to start a discussion on some tactical considerations while playing the scenarios ...

RE: Helicopters in FPC

<r> <QUOTE><s>
</s> No dancing around while missile in flight. Sorta makes it hard to fly it to the target, same as hear Sagger 2 o clock and immediately open up with everything possible in that direction hoping to make the gunner flinch or duck. And I will be the first to say that the US ...

Wishlist?

A TT Font or .abr file for Photoshop with basic NATO military symbols

I would love to see some simple programmable SOP's, but I have a feeling those are probably already factored into the unit mode (H,S,M etc)

RE: A Time To Dance NATO

<t> OK, first attempt at "A Time to Dance". Fought to 42% 'Contested', lost most of the point hexes, but drew a lot of blood and even launched a counterattack of sorts. Was only able to down one bridge before the Soviets blew me away like dust. Their recce went north and merely waded across the ...
