I'm looking at the Print-friendly manual.pdf and the original manual PDF, I don't see any difference. I wish there was a manual without the textured background and the green bars above and below the text. They eat up so much ink.<br/>

RE: Learning Scenario Question

Honestly the Operation Husky scenario is perfect for learning the game. Keep repeating it over and over until you understand the mechanics and interface.

RE: thehistoricalgamer vs Baloogan in Operation Glacier

This is very true. I think this will the clincher for me to finally purchase WITP after all these years, along with the great price point with the sale. I can't wait to watch and learn from their AAR.

RE: First Impressions

If I recall correctly from past purchases, they mail out the physical copies from a warehouse in Oregon. As for taxes, it appears no taxes are being charged at the moment, at least to California, even for physical copies. It is presumably a glitch so take advantage of it while it lasts.

RE: Skeptical about Decisive Campaigns: Barbarossa

<t> If playing as the Soviets, does the German AI have to make decisions and contend with all the consequences, such as negative relations among their commanders? Or are they playing with "Decisions off"? Are the RPG decisions solely for the immersion for the human player? What about the "what-if ...

RE: Tax for download only?

Yeah, I'm thinking also that Plimus/Bluesnap doesn't have a clue. Amazing that I could now order a physical copy and not pay any tax, although at the end of the year when I do my state taxes I am still liable to report it.

Any chance for Operation Torch to be on sale too?

Holiday sale is currently on for some Matrix titles such as WITW, reduced to $54.99. There is also an option to add torch for $14.99 to the cart. Any chance to reduce Torch for the same price for those who already own WITW? Please?[:)]

RE: Buy DC III and get DC I and DC I for free?

<t> I was just about to order DC3 and take advantage of the two "free" games. However, I don't want to do it if it was not intentional. Can someone confirm that this is not a glitch? You can also get it by putting the physical version of DC3 in your cart then going back to the store to add the ...

RE: Tax for download only?

I tried purchasing again and it seems the tax issue has been fixed. Who should I contact to get reimbursed for all the tax that I have been charged over the years?

RE: Tax for download only?

<t> Attached pics of some of my purchases. Both Plimus and Bluesnap have always charged tax. Again I'm from California.<br/>
edit: Just did some research and it appears Plimus, which changed it's name to Bluesnap, are owned by Great Hill Partners. Even though their HQ is in Massachusetts, they have ...

So you're telling me I've been charged tax throughout the years and it could be a mistake? I always thought it was suspicious but never said anything.

I think I read somewhere from Vic that eventually it will be released on Steam, but not initally. I'm ready to order the physical version myself as soon as it is available. This will be my first DC game.

RE: 2by3 to publish Steel Tigers

To be honest, I've never played any of his Steel Panthers game. It was a little before my time. What gives it such a huge following? Why so great? Can I expect the same level of detail as his WitE and WitP games?

RE: 2by3 to publish Steel Tigers

I thought Gary Grigsby and his team was working on WitW fixes, WitE2, and then eventually War in Europe. How do they find the time?
