It seems your configuration is fine and the CSV file is correct.

I tried your CSV.
Good news is I succeeded in creating a map.
Bad news is I still don't know what causing the problem on your side.
I suppose my app doesn't crash? It just silently fails - not creating an image but otherwise working normal?

I'm very happy that you like it :) Always glad to hear that somebody uses my app :)
I would have to rebuild the way the data is analyzed for WITE2 and probably way of selecting data source (folder rather than specific file) but of course it's doable. I will look into it when I have time ...

Java 8u451 is fine. Any Java 8 or newer will do.

Jar file may placed where you want. If the app opens - you can select folders/files and hit Create button etc. then it works OK.

As for your specific problem I think I have to improve logging (those messages that you copy-pasted). Please give me a ...

Ah, yes. "Game directory" is misleading if you use the program to generate map for WITE2's CSV.

It should be called "Map directory" as WITE'2 game directory is not needed to generate a map. I'll correct that.

You should tick "Select stats file from custom location" and then select CSV file ...

Hi,
Log says that the program didn't find the folder containing commander's reports. Could you double check if you selected a proper folder with CSV file inside?
I will recheck it on my end tomorrow.

As I wrote before: both image and configuration files have to be in the same folder.
Preferably in the folder with other background images that you selected via "Select directory with downloaded maps".

Thank you for explanation, Thrake ! I will think about that. I like what you are saying about training troops and leaders. Surely it's good if it plays important role in a wargame and can be a counter to just flooding enemy with tanks.

I did some more calculation.

Modified scores from the Raagun's example
19280 (attacker) to 6309 (defender)
i.e. 3 : 1 ratio.
That's how it works now.


Modified scores when applied to base score:
7412 (attacker) to 7043 (defender)

Thanks to Raagun I realized how exactly combat modifiers are computed.

So I see that every modifier affects already modified score and everything builds up like an avalanche.
