I'm using Kaspersky internet security 2013

When I say title screen I meant the game launcher. If I press play it immediately goes to a windows error. Has anyone seen this game running on Windows 8?
I've tried compatibility modes but all to the same effect.

Installed/reinstalled COH numerous times ( without AV& firewall) all with negative results. <br/>
The title screen comes up but when I hit play I get nothing( a quick glimpse of the windows error message but that doesn't stay on screen long.<br/>
Help me ! I hate wasting money on games ...
