RE: Supply Truck mechanic need input.

No, I don't like this idea at all. Leave it as it is please. I guess a cost increase like squatter suggests would be acceptable.

RE: how do you merge units?

<r> I'm unable to merge a single division into a small corps. I have tried this twice and have a screenshot and saved game to illustrate. Happy to share these. Game version 8.1 steam edition.<br/>

For reference I built 3 x new infantry divisions (Germany) and deployed them next to each other ...

RE: The Rise and Fall Of An Empire!

Kirk, fantastic, thank you so much for starting this mod. I really enjoyed your work with Commander: Napoleon at War. I think this game lends itself well to the era. Good luck, and God's speed.

Thanks everyone. I understand now to load the editor, load the 1939 Campaign, save as XXX, and then edit decisions.

RE: Events/Script for newbies?

Yep check that.

I guess I should update \Templates\Events\Decision.txt as well? Same decision file exists there by the looks of it. I'll try that anyways. <-- Nope that's an empty file.

RE: Events/Script for newbies?

<t> Hi, I've written a new decision and added it to \Campaigns\_1939 Storm over Europe\Scripts\Events\Decision.txt however it does not fire. Do I need to add the event name (the number - DE 674) in another files? Dies the event name (number) need to be sequential? My event does not appear within in ...

RE: Movement

maybe the most practical solution is to give France more strategic movement and forced march cards, so that players like kendrick and myself can reflect more historical movements whilst uncle_joe et al can choose not to play those cards if he prefers?

Agreed, +1. Or just make the unit card/counters size smaller so we can see the whole picture/image.

RE: First Playthrough

<t> I've nearly completed the Dash for the Danube campaign. It's 1814 and I'm defending Paris with a depleted 14 stack facing Spain (25), Russia (25), Prussia (30) and Austria (25) stacks. I'm winning ALL my battles but loosing too many units, so I think my strategy must be a bit off. I did read the ...

<t> Dunno, but then I've only played the 1805 Campaign, Dash to the Danube and I'm getting slowly bled dry fighting Spain, UK, Prussia, Russia and Austria in France and its 1814. I'm winning all my battles but loosing too many units with not enough replacements. Sure I've made certain mistakes ...

it's annoying to have to forfeit cards, but not being able to influence those you lose is even worse. I would like to see a discard feature.

RE: First Playthrough

The British Army (15 stack) has just sailed direct from London to Provence (south of France) in one turn and deposited its army there. Not bad for two months work. This army glided through six sea provinces, some with as many as two naval units. Bizarre.
