Thanks for the link. I uninstalled the game (Demo version), re-installed allowing the .net and directx9 to install again and it worked! Looks like the key was uninstalling and re-installing.

Okay, I allowed the demo to update .net and directx. However, the game crashes immediately upon loading.<br/>
Sould this be playable on Win8? Also I'm using a Samsung NP900X4C ultrabook with an integrated graphics chipset the Intel HD 4000.<br/>

So I have a new win8 ultrabook that has directx 11. Won't this install replace my directx 11 with version 9? Or does it add a second version? I don't want other things to no longer work because I replaced a newer version with an older version.<br/>
