4. This is a tactic to easily re assign SUs to where you want them and not to where they were historically assigned.

This is very much a WiTE1 tactic ie before the implementation of CPP in the game. Re assigning a SU costs 50% of its CPP everytime you re assign.

FOW/Movement FOW doesn't make a difference with regards to how far those units will move. You simply need to follow the pathing as outlined. In other area's you'll have the same challenges and simply turning FOW off will show the pathing, turn it back on and engage in the click fest ;)

Thus far all my testing in 10310_beta doesn't indicate any major map changes. Here's the 29th Mot Div's path for the step 22 move and the regt's move path after that. As you can see plenty of MP's. ( to be clear I'm running Version 10310 )

It is immediately applied. As soon as a unit is considered isolated at the start of a turn, pound on it.

Errata 01.02.32:
HQs on map and in the national reserve may now be placed into refit mode. This can be done on the CR screen or by right clicking on the unit within the Reserve box on the map

There's an errata... specifically Errata 01.02.41
On map units in reserve mode will not commit in support of a hasty attack.

Does this mean units in reserve mode on defense will also not commit to the defense or is it just those "reserve" units on the "attack" side of the Hasty attack that won't ...

I spent 10-15 moves setting up a mass encirclement and it worked very well with 4 pockets of cut off units! I'm patting myself on the back thinking I have this game locked! The Living Manual is very useful however ALL the changes since inception are the same reddish brown hue. Can't recruit armored troops (v1.9.0.13)

I've researched the tech "Armored Ground Assault" and built the Planetary Facility "Armored Factory", yet I'm unable to recruit Armored Forces on the planet where the "Armored Factory" has been built. The only menu choice I have is for regular infantry.
