RE: Great game, but too many crashes

<t> Here's some new pearl from the game: I started a new campaign for the Parliament side, suddenly when clicking the advance turn button, a window popped up telling me that the player opponent (???) has not yet submitted the turn orders and asked if I wanted to give the royalist side to the AI...I ...

RE: Great game, but too many crashes

<t> It's nice to hear that there are tweaks if stability becomes an issue...but last time I checked other games are not requiring to shut off your firewall or to give exeptions.<br/>
Good games out there are plain and simple install-and-play, sometimes a little patch is needed, but nowadays to play ...

Great game, but too many crashes

<t> The game itself is good, AGE works very well in this historical context: unit density is low and you have to follow certain rules, it reminded me of the good old WIA2. <br/>

The civil war campaign needs some tweaks but IMHO is working prefectly fine. Remember to deactivate automatic ...

<t> 40 bucks on Steam to be a beta tester doesn't sounds like a good deal to me.<br/>
<br/>
There are many community members who will buy it happily, but if this game wants to be sold on Steam it should have been in a better shape...<br/>
Newcomers to the community are irritated by some game ...

Player controlled, I used them as ground-based recon. Once you discover the enemy camp, stay still and wait for the strike aircraft to be ready.

RE: Beginner needs help with Brother vs Brother Scen

<t> Did you try to make them patrol at a lower altitude? In my experience yes, they have better planes and missiles, but they used to launch at maximum weapon range and missed most of the time. I had like 4 or 5 Kfir lost but I downed 3 of theirs; as long as you have at least two fighters covering ...

RE: Paracel Showdown- new scenario for testing

<t> Well, it turned out wasn't intended by me to have empty magazines (since this seems too gamebreaking), it was simply that I didn't cared about the level of detail this game offers...well, this is some kind of mistake that everybody can learn a lesson from, so I've fixed this issue, I just hope ...

Just noticed a few things . Was is your intention to have no reloads at any of the airbases?<br/>
Also it will take between 5 to 10 hours to get the very few strike aircraft into the fight, think I<br/>
might have lost my surprise element ...

RE: New Scenario for Testing - Sink the Nautica 1977

<t> Very good idea but somehow I felt the pace of the scenario is too slow, minutes of terror and destruction followed by hour of lazy waiting or hiding at the bottom...maybe reconsidering the foxtrot choice? It seems really outpaced by everybody and his lack of long range sensor makes you revert to ...

RE: Mapping Italy..

<t> Southern Italy is more prone to landslides because of lack of trees in the vegetation: the most arid and windy weather deteriorates the superficial terrain, making it brittle and shaky. Seasonal rains come with violence sometimes and the terrain literally slides down the hillside, no tree roots ...

<t> That was a shameful episode for the Italian Army, a complete lack of preparation of the top level generals.<br/>
Italy had more than two Corps around Rome and effectively put up resistance in the days of 9-10 september '43. They didn't resisted any longer because the Italian Army top levels ...
