Game request for Axis player

Been playing for a while now but still unable to master this game. Looking for an Axis player to practice everything I've learnt as Allies and hopefully survive further than 1943.

v1.27 PBEM

I tried to take my turn in my current PBEM game. I have upgraded to v1.27 but receive the following message 'Please upgrade your game to the latest version' followed by 'Connection Error[-3]' and 'Client Mismatch'.
Could you assist please.

RE: Battle of Britain

<t> I didn't expect this thread to have so many tangents especially as I tried to rein it in from the start. So in summary the 109s dived better and the spits turned quicker. But so did bi planes and we saw what happened to bi planes in the Polish, French and Russian campaigns to the hands of the dr...

RE: Battle of Britain

My only experience of 110s is Panzer Corps where they are very good at picking up the crumbs after the 109s have feasted. If Panzer Corps have modelled them correctly.

RE: Battle of Britain

A quarter of the pilots were from overseas. And they all contributed so there are probably many other factors to the final battle than the Spitfire.

Maybe I should have asked this question a few gears ago when the veterans were still alive.

RE: Battle of Britain

Battle of Britain. And I don't mean that in a disrespectful way. Britain was on its knees and the crux between us falling I believe was the Spitfire but if on a 1 on 1 the 109 was better then I will change my opinion.

Battle of Britain

<t> My ambition from this post is to settle once and for all - and it is an ambitious ambition. Which was better Spitfire or 109? Hurricanes can also be considered but not 110s. This should be considered without radio direction finding, Dowding, tactics, Spanish civil war experience and solely on th...

Tank Army HQ

Is there any benefit in Soviet formation of Tank Army HQ as opposed to adding a high value mech leader to a normal HQ?

RE: Any USSR full size Tank Divisions left later in game?

<t> Turn 15 = 60th Tank Div<br/> Turn 16 = 58th Tank Div<br/> <br/> In my current game with Model1950 they 'upgraded' to over strength brigades 2 turns later and then normal strength brigades thereafter. So not much use. Had I tried to use them Model1950 would have just surrounded them and lots of t...

RE: Ten year objectives

Thanks Loki100. It's odd as the messages saying you are on track still appear - just to tantalise. We are about to start another game with 14 players and just need someone to play Austria if you are interested?
