This has happened to me many times. May I suggest different colors for the up\down arrow icons and sell icons? Maybe black arrows and green sell icons, or something similar.

How do you sell a partial team without needing to buy horses to make a complete four horse team first?

I'm not sure why it's necessary to pay money to fill out a horse team to four horses before selling a team with less than four. Would I really buy a fourth horse if I wanted to sell a team of three? No, no, and no. [:-]
