At last I managed to do it with a shareware software (total image converter) and photoshop. Not too hard.
I converted the images from wmf to png with the correct ratio (200x120) and transparency instead of white, and then I inverted the colours with PS.
It worked fine.

Hi guys, those flagshapes are awesome, but apparently the .wmf file format isn't supported in DW:Universe. Only png is.
Is there an easy way to convert wmf to png?
I was trying to use these flagshapes in my Star Wars Ancient Fears Mod, but I can't...

I'm trying to make a Map that doesn't crash. In the meantime you should play custom games only, because the prebuilt Map crashes every time at 2300.06.something.

You can post the image on something like ImageShack or TinyPic and write the url here, without (http) and (www) if the forum doesn't let you.
Can you describe what does the error say and how did you install the Mod?
Also, have you got Distant Worlds Universe, or an earlier version?

Apparently, with a proxy, I can't complete the download, and the files end up being corrupted.
