Drag Map with Middle Mouse

Not really much else to say - edge scrolling or arrow keys are like a D-

Click hold middle mouse, pans the screen would be a big improvement

I foresee this as a problem though since you seem to be scrolling the map in hex increments, creating a smooth pan with mouse input could be a headache

One thing as a new player which slowed me down a bunch was getting comfortable with the selection tabs on the bottom of the main screen. I think the following changes would help quite a bit:

If a hex is clicked with a military unit (allied or enemy), auto switch to the unit tab

I often hit R instead of T - The roads screen pops up

This screen can only be closed by clicking abort - have Esc close this window as well

I am aware how pedantic this request is, but I feel like other people would also appreciate this

Depleted Mining Resources

It would seem my private assets involved with mining still keep them at full staff when the resources are completely gone. If they could mothball automatically when no resources were present, this would free up a lot of population for other private facilities.

Air Combat Speedup

I am doing a lot of air combat against ground troops, and the time to wait for 10 round resolution is getting quite tiresome - especially when the combat is resolved after the second or third round and I have to watch 7 rounds of nothing happening. Without being able to escape. 20 to 30 times a turn.

Boarding Parties Dont Recharge

I have been noticing fleets which contain ships which contain boarding pods are not having their full boarding strength recharge, even after long periods of inactivity. Might have something to do with upgrading the ship while one of the pods is empty from recent use?

Well, my example doesn't have anything to do with purchases, these were goods assigned to the pirate faction which owned the starport. They somehow retained possession of goods inside the starport after I boarded and captured it. No colony or 3rd party factions are involved with this issue.

can verify that building the criminal network did not deduct the 200K

also noticing some weirdness building space ports as pirates - once a space port is built over an uninhabited planet, you can not build a mining facility

It's worth noting that in a completely new game, I experienced another crash at this specific special event. Apparently the scorpions in the warp zone = crash on my system
