VPaulus, Thanks for the advice. I found the problem was caused by Frontline RtM and CC Gateway to Caen sharing a folder. Uninstalled both games, reinstalled to seperate folders, problem solved.

Game was downloaded from Matrix and is located on a secondary hard drive (D:/Matrix Games).

Installed game o.k but when I tried to open it from the desktop icon I get a runtime error message 'failed to extract project file to memory'.

Game runs o.k when opened from the application file in file explorer.

Win 7 Home Premium(64 bit)
