I've bought Combat Mission Black Sea through Steam, downloaded and installed it, but it apears to crash after pressing play in the launcher, as well like when I try to launch it by clicking on the .exe file itself.
The screen doesn't flicker or whatever, but if I look to my 'played time', steam does ...

Well, it worked for Version1 but when I installed the update, it returned to the same problem. The launcher menu launches but when I press the EF etc button, it makes a sound but nothing happens.

PS: I had reinstalled version 1 after installing the x64

I reloaded my JTCS on my 2019 ThinkBook and updated it and I get:

I think this resolves after a restart of the computer. Same thing has happened to me.

Is there a way to add sounds like that found in the jungle or the beach or weather? I know it exists for CS Rising Sun and in some of the JT Squad Battles titles.

And period music? Is that possible?
