the landscapes and Characters are generated separately, as in the original game to better adapt to every type of planet and allow to customize . the only technical limitations are related to the manual generation of additional landscapes

there is a modding guide to remote worlds universe well. yes the image must be equal on all sides, the image being slightly larger but it will automatically resize the game.
