Looking for opponent

I'm in one game can do another.
Only have limited internet access at low speeds so can only do pbem
I have 1.10 beta loaded.
I would propose bitterend campaign no +1, full blizzard.
You choose side.

Looking for opponent

Bitter End 41-45.
FFOW, Lock HQ Support,
Random Weather, No Sov Combat bonus.
Better CV Math, Full Blizzard.
I have medium amount of experience.
I'm open to either side but would prefer Sov.

RE: WitE 2

Did Pelton really get booted for calling someone 'ignoranant' or am I missing something?
That's a pretty wimpy(if not humorous) insult to be tossed over, I think.
You know he pretty much argues with his same type. I'd cut them some slack. just saying.

efficacy of fortified zones

Is there merit in throwing up a few fortified zones close to Leningrad
or Moscow? Say after Jun 41 whilst they're a spendy 8AP?

new player looking for same to play axis

I aim to start my first pbem, wish to try soviet first.
I propose no +1, random weather, and regular winter.
No bombing of solo HQ, attacks per turn against enemy airbases not to exceed 3(exempt for German first turn)
other rules subject to discussion, suggestion.

RE: Newb question(s)

<t> Loki, thanks. I'm a fan.<br/>
I find if you go to your dumping ground (I mean: training) air base and assign, it gives you a list of air<br/>
groups which you can pick by morale to train, so it works. Unfortunately removing them from the field to the reserve requires considerably more clicks ...

RE: Newb question(s)

<t> Thanks. Although I don't see where that's an option. That's in the game manual?<br/>
I was referring to the CR screen, specifically the air group section, if you rank your air groups by morale<br/>
and then attempt to move all the units with a morale below say 50 to the national reserve from ...

Newb question(s)

What does No 1:1 = 2:1 mean?
The CR has lots of useful info, but how do you, say, delimit by morale and then select only those units in a given range for action?

loss of troops in absense of enemy attack

<t> I am playing my first campaign and in the mud turns, I was loosing between 13,000-18,000 German troops on the Soviet turn, when the AI conducts no attacks! Now in the first winter and suffering around 50k of casualities per turn. When doing a shift o I have no troops isolated or far from supply ...
