Re: Allies Set-up Spreadsheet for AE

Kull makes reference to "KB" a number of times in the comments section of her spreadsheet. Like move after KB leaves. Who or what is KB?

Re: The AE Geezer Thread!

I'm taking time out to grump about the time it takes to make the opening moves in this game. I mean for old grumpy guys, time is of the essence. Not a whole lot of it left.

Re: SeaBee Alpha - WitP:AE Install & Configuration Application

I just ordered WitP: AE since it was on sale. I've tried the SeeBee app, but I get an error: "Unable to find PW data!!!"

The other possibility is that the downloaded game is not installing the correct shortcut icon on your desktop. As put out by Matrix, the original game puts an icon on your ...

Re: Allies Set-up Spreadsheet for AE

I'm an old (in all senses of the word :) ) WitP original version player who has finally decided it's time to give AE a proper go. This spreadsheet IS AMAZING. Absolute gold for someone like me who's overwhelmed with the number of units to deal with. Even coming from the original game, which was ...

RE: Windows 8 running really slow

<t> I would like to make you I know what ya'll are talking about. Seems like a lot of the problems being discussed are display delays. What is slow for me is when I click for "next fleet" or "next port" I have to wait a painful 5 to 10 seconds for the computer to catch up. Sometimes I hit the next ...

RE: strategies and tactics for starting battle

<t> Thanks for the tips.<br/>
<br/>
Love this game. A little overwhelmed with all of the attacks and counter-attacks in a 20 minute time span. And I am a little confused as it seems like one unit gets to return fire to any unit(s) that attacked it. But in my own personal experience if "A" is fired ...

RE: Why is this game selling for $50?

I've been looking at BAB. Some of the others look soooo complicated like FOF:TACW. Man that could take days just for a couple of turns.

I real do appreciate your help!

RE: Why is this game selling for $50?

<t> I'm not so worried about the $50 as I am in getting what I want for that $50. I've been thinking about buying it, but I kind of like playing with the actual units that were involve. I'm a purist I guess and like to see the 101st N.H come up against the 37th S.C. (don't nail me on those actual ...

RE: What other WCS game(s) do you own?

<t> This is also my first. WCS game that is. I'm 67 years old and I refuse to grow up. I teethed on Avalon-Hill's Gettysburg when I was 11. I know, the game specifically said it was for 12 years and older. It now sits on a shelf in a well worn box. The map-board is displayed in a frame on the wall ...
