neither of us have warp drives yet, therefor no spheres of influence. I do understand what you are saying though, and it's probably the cause. I'll just lets the game progress more and see the outcome.

Yeah, I'm not sure, I haven't tested that. The programmer might of coded it differently while reading from a themes folder... not sure, test it.

Doesn't change the fact that memory is the most important thing for this game. Anyway, perhaps your problem is with the hard drive, faster one perhaps?

what's the point as running without a theme if you're going to mod your game? there is no point, the game even starts up as the theme you last chose, and to be honest that might be your problem right there to why the game don't catch the extra modded ships.

I like these, but I wouldn't use 'em unless they're used in Galaxy view... It would be nice if you can make these recognizable zoomed out. See these in Galaxy view and while zooming in they'd switch to the Vanilla symbols, that would be nice...
