Thanks Larry, already seen it. Not very enlightening thread if you ask me, and that was a month and a half ago. We could use a more detailed update.

<t> That is called fields. Do not look at 2014 Google satellite and think this is accurate for 1944 or at all. Bocage cannot be defined from space. Bocage was several kilometers south of Bayeux. This terrain was not at the beach except Utah. I am not allowed to post links but take off dashes and ...

Here's the UI for WITE and I like it. Maybe TOAW could use something like this:

I do not like this game. Colors boring like grey Russian winter. I would burn my computer first.

Regardless, TOAW IV is getting an overhaul from a graphics designer - a very experienced one that Matrix has used before. Some of it will just be for style alone, but there will be functional improvements as well, I'm sure.

How much is this thing costing? When I look at Matrix games even real old ones like WitP are scary expensive. You think it will be under $50? And will it be on Steam like some other Slitherine games?

<t> Half kilometer would not work I think. You would need line of sight and this game has none. Probly the same for 1 km. At 1.5 km you would be pushing LOS. At 2 km you would be ok without. At least that's how it seems for WW1 and WW2. Modern LOS could be in effect out to a handful of km with all ...
