I also tried reinstalling the old program and uninstalling it using Revo Uninstaller and still get the same message when trying to install.

Also used Ccleaner to clean my system and registry, but still didnt solve the issue.

I just went back and installed the game again from the old installer and uninstalled it through Programs and Features.

Still, when I go to install the new one, I get the screen about the old version and the 'Uninstall' button seems to do nothing.

It was worth a try!

When clicking buttons in the interface, they just look 'flat', they dont seem to have a press action to them. I am playing the Steam version.....is this also true in the regular version? I thought I remembered older versions having the illusion of being pressed....
