Re: Air War Guide

It appears that missions are run in order of the groups in the database starting with the lowest ref, any group on the same mission is included and ran at the same time.

This is apparent by including a marine unit on sweep, that will drag USAAF units along.

Re: Moving to a new laptop

As already mentioned you have to install once on each PC. Myself I use "Onedrive" as the file location, this way I can access from desktop, laptop and tablet.

Re: Do fighter escorts automatically sweep when escorting bomber attacks?

My personal theory on this is that the group number plays a big part in when a group is activated. The engine starts at the first entry on the list and executes its mission, dragging any other groups with a similar mission along with then if they pass the coordination checks. Once the first group is ...

Re: XT or C

It seems that XT is External Mount and not referring to extra fuel. Fighters carrying 2 bombs (A-36) are XT, whereas 1 bomb (P-40E) is C, implying XT is referencing wing mounts.

In regard to the Dauntless 3, the full load is 1000lb XT mounted, with reduced load being 500lb C. Since I believe C ...

XT or C

Does having a bomb on XT rather than C hsve an impact on accuracy?

I ask as i noticed that Dauntless have the 1000lb on C then in later versions XT then back to C again.

Looking of Japanese Player

The GC Scenario is negotiable. I am on the East Coast (Virginia) and can play 1 maybe 2 turn a day dependent on timing.

RE: Swapping Airframes early game

<t> There is another way to recover these frames.<br/>
<br/>
Pick a Catalina island base, transport a engineer and a base force, and min supply. Build the base to level 1. Reduce supply to the absolute min. Then fly in the restricted air units to over stack. Over time the airframes will move to ...

ORIGINAL: rustysi

The map is in my head.[X(]

I had considered this option, but felt I'd rather print the map than risk losing my collection of "knock knock" jokes I have been accumulating up there for years.

RE: Print Map

<t> I was able to print and laminate one of the planning maps at Office Depot on 36x24 for around $35. The problem is with the colour map, I find it difficult to differentiate the Islands from the mass of blue at any distance. Printing the same map in B&W gives the same problem. I was looking for ...

Looking for Japanese Player - Closed

Hi,

After lurking in the background of these forums for some time, I have decided to step out of the shadows and seek a opponent for a campaign. I can run at least 1 turn per day, maybe more dependent on timing.

When Ships are returned after a withdrawal. Do they return with the upgrades appropriate for the return date?

RE: British X Corps TO&E

As part of the agreement to allow commonwealth troops to participate in the invasion of Japan it was agreed that these would use US equipment. Presumably to simplify supply.
