RE: Scenarios available for WitP AE

The RA Mod (Scenario 50). I dragged and dropped the WinRAR files into the SCEN folder but when I log into the game, the scenario doesn't show up. What do I need to do?

RE: Have you already tried The Reluctant Admiral scenario?

I dragged and dropped the WinRAR files into the SCEN folder, but what should I do next? Scenario 50 isn't showing up when I get into the game?

RE: GIGANTO Video-AAR on Youtube 8|

I started watching Harplonked's series around Oct/Nov. I started at the beginning and am only on video 263 but have been enjoying it immensely! The time it takes to just watch the videos is tiring - how he is able to play so much is beyond me.

Newbie advice for Japan

<t> Is there anything a newbie playing Japan might do/not do that would assure defeat? I feel comfortable about protecting my forces, the importance of acquiring raw materials and understand the basic rules, but are there common mistakes one might make that will be hard to overcome?<br/>

RE: Fuel in China

I was wondering about that; is that because it will take time for fuel to push through from India? Thanks for the suggestion!

Fuel in China

<t> It's April 42 and the allies have recaptured Hong Kong. The fuel tends to stay the same as it goes down a bit when a sub refuels and goes up a bit (like 2400) once in awhile. How can one increase the amount of fuel in Hong Kong without sending a dangerous TF to unload fuel? Shutting off heavy ...

Holding the Philippines

<t> I am still in the process of starting my first game, which will be the campaign game as the Allies. It seems from what I've read on the forums, giving up the Philippines is part of standard play. Does anyone feel that the Allies can hold it? IRL, it certainly seemed plausible if the Americans ...

RE: Computer-controlled TF's

<t> Wow, thanks for this info. I assumed auto-convoying supplies would be reasonable and only use Supply TF's if I wanted to prepare a forward base for invasion or bottleneck situation the AI didn't pick up.<br/>

Basically, is it only necessary to supply strategically-located ports and ...

RE: Computer-controlled TF's

<t> Thanks for the info. That is actually very good news; I'd rather be in control of everything. Alas, I only speak English and passable French.<br/>

And thanks for the info on PacWar. That is the game I played in the late 90's. I didn't want to bother looking up the old game in a box. I am ...

Computer-controlled TF's

<t> I am going to start my first game after reading the manual and newbie post in the forums. I actually played this game a bit in the late 90's. I will be playing the Allies. Should I make all my TF's human-controlled (I do enjoy micro-managing) or are there specific missions that the AI does ...

RE: Gameplay videos by XTRG!

Back in the mid or late 90's I was playing this game but it must have been a much earlier version. The mods look great. What I remember of it, it was a blast to play. I am looking forward to seeing more of you learning this game and getting it out in the public. Thanks![8D]

RE: noob

<t> As far as I can remember, there really aren't any additional units that "appear" out of thin air as in many AGEod games that will bring historical troops into the game.<br/>
<br/>
When you go to the F1 screen and sort on the last column, you will find units that will come online in the near ...
