top down template for planes

Does anyone have a template for the top down sprites for aircraft? one with a grid for sprite placement would be good as I'd like to add in new aircraft but I've run into difficulty with the alignment on the main top down files and the alpha files.

I asked as I was wanting to make custom planes for War Plan Orange. I have made graphic in the past but ran into difficulties putting them on Jptop/Aptop.bpm

The scenario is great and all but I encountered some graphical errors with some of the ship transparencies showing up with pink backdrops in game. Also how did you manage to line up your top down plane graphics?
