A battalion having 8 missiles doesn't mean it has them all on TELs; do they show as reloading after the first ones launch?

RE: MPA Patrol Sonobouy logic

I usually constrain my MPA's patrol zones to narrow lanes, so they lay neat lines of sonobuoys.
As for actives, I didn't know they'd ever drop them without a target to investigate or a manual order; the poster above me has provided some interesting info :)

<t> I'd warn against using specific excess power (what your ratio of climb rate to weight kinda is) as a measure of overall maneuverability.<br/>
Firstly because climb rate varies hugely, as does weight, over the flight; in fact most missiles are out of propellant during the terminal phase, with ...

I've read enough accident investigation reports that involved insects obstructing Pitot tubes to be at least a bit uneasy if I was to be the next pilot to take that airframe out.

Do your units actually have their sensors turned on? [;)]

EDIT: missed the part about merging, it might be that some long-range sensor is subsuming the short-range ones.

Maneuver so that it's within boresight limits [:D]

Also, attach a savefile so that people don't have to wonder which of the thousands of missile-plane combinations is acting weird.
