RE: Can someone explain Discord?

Since more game developers are using it, that's where I go to find out about these games. Just seems like another forum to me.

RE: Movie: The Last Duel

The above post is my thought as well. If his first film (he did 200 commercials prior) was the Duelists and this is The Last Duel, I wonder if this might be his last film? He is in his eighties.

A bold vision coupled with a hopelessly buggy execution. Really disappointing.

RE: Looking for name of late 90's wargame site/forum

<t> The Wargamer was CDmag's main competitor back then. One of their writers even plagiarized one of my CD mag reviews! They are under new management and I have two suggestions for them: 1. Change the name or actually cover wargames. 2. Ditch the staff portraits. They aren't helping.<br/>

Things were a lot better. But then the past always is in retrospect.

RE: Looking for name of late 90's wargame site/forum

Used to write wargame reviews for CD Mag around then. Not strictly a wargame site but covered a lot of wargames. Sadly defunct now.

Lava, the unified login got me too but was eventually resolved. I forget now how, but I think tech people sorted it out.

RE: War Gamer story (true)

<t> First time poster here. Mini and table top memories too numerous to mention, but one game I will always remember. It was a modded Reb Baron 3d mission during a US career, 1917. I was leading a flight of N-28s over the Saint Mihiel salient. After numerous scraps, I was the only remaining AC, deep ...

SE5s do not have two sets of inter-plane struts. Among fighters, SPADs and Dolphins do. Many two-seaters do as well.

Down loaded the update but it says I don't have the game, but I do. It's installed on an F drive and I suspect the installed is looking for it in C drive. Can anyone help?

You don't need to. If you have enough ships, all you do is drag the army over to England.

RE: Naval part of the game

<t> It is very possible to defeat the Royal Navy and eventually capture London. France must be committed to a naval strategy which means taking a lot of ship replacements, using any appropriate cards and looking for opportunities to defeat smaller detachments.<br/>

<t> Any chance that using excess generals to boost combat unit's stats will make it into this patch?<br/>

Also, thanks to V&G, I've been looking into Hannibal (also brilliant) and see that anyone may make an extended move without the appropriate card with the risk of attrition. That would be ...
