Late to the party, but the poll is just barely passing as a mere clue towards a general direction for how well those changes have been received.
From a developers point of view it's understandable.
However from a business point of view, the move from freeform design to hardpoints was a poor choice ...

Multiplayer or not, I just hope it has less hard coding and allowing use to mod much more, or even better make the whole thing varied, balanced, challenging and customizable in the first place.
