i have tried using 5k player and that hasnt solved the problem, what should i do?

Its a fresh update to windows 10

Following on from correcting the auto play menu, whenever i try to skip past the cinematic when the game first loads, the game crashes and i get a message saying that 'spartan.exe has stopped working' The same thing happens even if i let the cinematic play through fully

dont worry about my previous message, my downloads folder is just a mess and i didnt see it

im being a muppet here but how do i get to step 1 on that guide?
