RE: Updated DB image packs are available!

Not sure if this is the right place or not...no biggie but found a database error in C:MO build 115.8.1

For entry #718 (AIM-120-C7) the description is for the MIM-23 HAWK SAM. Screen shot attached.

<r> Thanks Gunner. The SR-71 has long been a favourite of mine too. It's such a beautiful aircraft. <br/>

Use of tactical EMP

<t> Hey all,<br/>
<br/>
Playing the last scenario in COW and I have a B-1 loaded with JASSM-ER omni-directional EMP weapons. I haven't worked out the best way to use these for maximum effect.<br/>
<br/>
From what I can tell, they differ from the high-altitude airburst EMP weapons in that the ...

RE: AAW Patrol question

<t> Thanks to everyone for your input. Just to be clear, this wasn't a whinge, just a question. The main reason I asked was that in a number of COW scenarios there is a hefty points penalty for losing one of your own aircraft. I thought there may be a more efficient way of minimising the risk to my ...

RE: Air Sea Battle

<t> You can't shoot them with any aircraft launched AAW weapons. The ceiling of the various types of AMRAAMs is 80,000 ft from memory.<br/>
<br/>
The ship launched AAW weapons, SM-2 etc will get there when the ships are in range.<br/>

RE: AAW Patrol question

<t> Thanks for the responses guys.<br/>
<br/>
If I got this right the AMRAAM and equivalents are not truly 'fire and forget'. They still need in flight guidance for longer range shots until the missile itself goes active. <br/>
<br/>
From what Gunner has said that guidance can be provided by a ...

AAW Patrol question

<t> Hey all,<br/>
<br/>
Just a query about behaviour in an AAW Patrol. <br/>
<br/>
As an example I have F-18Es with AIM-120D on an AAW Patrol with a prosecution zone. Bogeys are identified as Su-27s (armed with PL-12 missiles). <br/>
<br/>
The F-18s head off into the prosecution zone to ...

RE: Scenario 4: Salvo *CONTAINS SPOILERS*

<t> Hey jmax, don't overthink it. [:)] It is what it is - the fact is that Taiwan and Philippines are not players in this scenario and as long as you play within the boundaries of the scenario you can do whatever you want. <br/>

A couple of other things to note:<br/>

RE: Damn the Torpedos question (*poss. spoilers*)

<t> Thanks Søren. Makes sense. <br/>
<br/>
I know the probability of a kill would be low given an incoming 2300 kt AS-4 and an outgoing 1700+ kt SM-1 but I thought they may have at least had a go rather than waving at the missile as it went whistling by. <br/>
<br/>
Even a small probability of a ...

RE: Autosave interval

<t> No worries. Thanks for the quick reply Mike.<br/>
<br/>
Made a stupid mistake in a scenario and hadn't saved for hours and hours of in-game time. The 100 sec autosave didn't take me back far enough to fix the mistake, so either I live with it or go back to the last manual save.<br/>

Autosave interval

Hi all,

Quick question - Is there anyway of changing the autosave interval from the default 20 secs to something a bit longer?

Thanks
