<t> On page 64 of the manual in the Interception section there is the following statement:<br/>
"To act as interceptors the Fighters must:<br/>
Be within both Strike and Spotting Range of the<br/>
hex targeted by the enemy."<br/>

RE: Unable to reinforce a ship in an occupied port

Thanks again Markiss, I really appreciate your help. I found this entry in the Panzerfaust release notes regarding naval reinforcement: "Maximum reinforcement points is now 5 strength points per turn for all naval units except Motor Torpedo Boats".

RE: Unable to reinforce a ship in an occupied port

<t> Thanks Markiss. I was aware of supply level affecting the ability for a unit to reinforce to max strength, but my ship was at supply 10, but you point out it is port strength for naval units, not unit supply. So now when I re-read the supply section in the manual again, I see that naval unit's ...

Unable to reinforce a ship in an occupied port

I noticed that I could resupply my German ship in an occupied Norwegian port, but could not reinforce it - is this a known rule or am I missing something?

RE: Red hatched areas off of North American coast?

Hmmn I see. Thanks. So is it better to raid the red zones or the actual convoy route?

Red hatched areas off of North American coast?

I have a german ship on one of the red hatched areas off of the north American coast. During the turn I see a message that production was disrupted for a mine and a city. What is the specific effect on the enemy?

Negative Attack Value Modifier!?!

<t> Well I spent several days reading the manual cover-to-cover and started up the 1939 Storm over Europe campaign playing the Axis. I advanced the German 14th army to the hex just south of the city of Krakow. The Polish 10th Mechanized is defending the city. When look at the combat prediction ...

White dot beside unit's flag?

One of my German Army units shows a white dot to the immediate left of the unit's German cross. None of my other units displays a white dot. What does this mean? I already know about experience and this is NOT an experience dot. In fact this particular Army unit has zero experience.

RE: How to use Amphibious Transports?

<t> Thanks BillRunacre. The problem was that the country I was trying to create an Amphibious Transport for was not at 100% mobilization. So I tried with another country (Germany) and was able to create a standard Amphibious Transport, but unfortunately the Long Range Amphibious Transport icon is ...

RE: How to use Amphibious Transports?

<t> BillRunacre:I have read the manual but that didn't answer my question. I am confused by your statement "providing there are Amphibious Transports available". I can create a regular Transport by clicking the Transport button and the unit moves into the ocean morphing into a ship icon. There is no ...

RE: Morale Formula?

Hubert, as I pointed out in my post, I am using the PDF version, and the in-game test results do not match the formula in the PDF.

Morale Formula?

<t> The formula for morale does not match my in-game testing results.<br/>
I started a new game of 1939 Storm over Europe, with all options defaulted, playing the Axis.<br/>
The German XXVII Corps starts with a Strength of 8/10, Supply of 7, and Morale of 70%.<br/>
I then advanced 4 turns and ...
