I think a WitW 2 should be pretty "easy."
A War in Europe was already a bit more difficult.
The maps weren't made for nothing, were they?

I play on a 32-inch monitor in windowed mode (to easily open other programs).

32 inches is good, but I still need glasses to see the details. :(

yes, reloading fixes the problem for a few rounds.

In the manual: "Airbases are also assigned a supply priority (from 0-4) by the player."

2. There is never enough capacity for my paratroopers.

yes, the first rounds are quick.
In the later rounds, your own logistics phase, especially the freight movements, takes minutes.
but that seems to be normal.
